DESCRIPTION:Philadelphia Quarterly Meeting- Fall Session at Germantown Meet
 ing\nSunday\, October 26 | 10:30 AM- 4:00 PM\nQuarterly Meeting is more th
 an business\; it's a network of fellowship\, a place to recharge\, and a w
 ay to build solidarity. Join Friends on October 26 for a day of connection
 \, reflection\, and community at Germantown Monthly Meeting .\n\nWe'll gat
 her to worship\, share meals\, and explore how we can support each other i
 n these times. During the program\, Friends will join breakout groups of i
 nterest to reflect and share.\n\nCheck out the scheduled below for more in
 formation\, and register by October 17 so we can plan food accordingly. Ch
 ildcare is available—please indicate in your registration if you'll be b

 —Meeting for Worship\, in person + Zoom\nNoon— Lunch provided\n1:15 PM
 — Breakout Sessions: Going Deep with our Meeting's Committees\nWe'll ex
 plore the ways our committees serve\, care\, and grow. Friends are invited
  to choose from three breakout groups\, each facilitated by someone curren
 tly serving—or who has previously served—on the committee. Anyone may 
 join a group\, whether or not they serve on that committee\, to reflect on
  how their meeting approach this work and to hear how other meetings do th
 e same.\nGroup One: Outreach CommitteeFriends will reflect on their meetin
 g’s Outreach Committee\, sharing experiences and considering the followi
 ng queries:\n\n\n 	\nHow does our meeting communicate Friends presence and
  principles to the wider community?\n\n 	\nHow does our meeting join with 
 other faith communities in worship\, in spiritual dialogue\, and in social
  action?\n\n 	\nWhat are we doing to invite persons to attend worship\, to
  welcome them when they come\, to listen sensitively to their needs and he
 sitations\, and to encourage their continued attendance?\n\n\nGroup Two: P
 astoral Care/Care and Counsel CommitteeFriends will reflect on and share e
 xperiences from their meeting’s Pastoral Care/Care and Counsel Committee
  while considering the following queries:\n\n\n 	\nDo we help each other l
 ive with integrity and contribute that integrity to the life of our meetin
 g?\n\n 	\nHow does our meeting learn of members' needs and offer its assis
 tance?\n\n 	\nHow does our meeting nurture members in all stages of life?\
 n\n 	\nWhen a member's conduct or manner of living gives cause for concern
 \, how does the meeting respond?\n\n\nGroup Three: Religious Education Com
 mitteeFriends will reflect on and share experiences from their meeting’s
  Religious Education Committee\, considering the following queries:\n\n\n 
 	\nHow does our meeting prepare its members\, attenders\, and children for
  worship\, for the conduct of its business\, and for a way of life consist
 ent with the principles of the Religious Society of Friends?\n\n 	\nWhat o
 pportunities do we provide for all in the meeting to learn about Friends h
 istory\, practices and testimonies\, the Judeo-Christian tradition\, the l
 ife and teachings of Jesus\, and other religious traditions?\n\n 	\nHow do
 es our meeting's religious education program provide experiential learning
  that enhances the sense of belonging to our worshipping community?\n\n\n2
